Download Claude Desktop from claude.ai/download if you don't have it. Open the app and sign in.

Go to Settings (gear icon, bottom-left), find "Developer" in the menu, and toggle Developer mode ON.

In Settings, go to "Connectors", click "Create" or "Add", and enter:

Name: SpadeChat
URL: https://spadechat.com/api/mcp

Click "Create" or "Save".

Start a new conversation, click the "+" button at the bottom, select "Connectors", and make sure SpadeChat is enabled.

Ask: "Find me a haircut near Eugene, Oregon"

You may need to enable SpadeChat for each new conversation depending on your settings.

REQUIRES CHATGPT PLUS, PRO, TEAM, ENTERPRISE, OR EDU PLAN. FREE ACCOUNTS CANNOT CONNECT MCP SERVERS.

Go to chatgpt.com, click your profile icon in the bottom-left, and select "Settings".

Click "Apps & Connectors", then "Advanced settings", and toggle on "Developer Mode".

In the Apps & Connectors section, click "Create" and fill in:

Name: SpadeChat
Description: Find and book appointments at local businesses through AI.
URL: https://spadechat.com/api/mcp

Click "Create" to save.

Open a new chat, click the "+" icon, select "More" then "Developer mode", and toggle "SpadeChat" on.

Ask: "Find me a haircut near Eugene, Oregon"

You need to enable SpadeChat for each new conversation — it doesn't stay on automatically.

ChatGPT will ask you to confirm before calling any tools. Click "Confirm" to allow it to search.
